Hidden below Splaiul Independenței, this basement tells a story that shaped Romania’s history. It was here that early discussions of unity began, paving the way for the union of Moldavia and Wallachia. This marked a pivotal step toward the formation of modern Romania.

Today, this space has been carefully preserved as part of the bar, where the past and present come together. The untouched features of the basement offer a direct connection to history, grounding the atmosphere of the bar in something timeless, whilst inviting you, our guests, to experience a place where the old and the new coexist naturally.
